History

Owned and operated by Terry and Sheri Silbaugh, Northland Cabinets has satisfied clients since 1984 with its array of high-quality products, experienced professional staff, and a focus on customer service. The company’s 30,000-square-foot facility in Maple Grove, Minn., which houses a showroom and complete manufacturing facility, has served customers since the beginning. As a matter of course, all Northland Cabinets clients are made to feel comfortable with a family-oriented, caring approach to work.

Expertise

Northland’s designers have more than 100 years’ combined experience in planning, designing and manufacturing cabinets, so you can rest assured your project is in capable hands. All of our staff members have spent at least 10 years in the industry, giving clients a high level of confidence.

Process

At Northland, we use the latest technology, along with good old-fashioned know-how and attention to detail, to produce world-class cabinets designed to impress, endure and amaze you and all visitors to your home.

When you first come to Northland, we’ll sit down and discuss your expectations, style preferences, scope of the project, timeframe, budget, and materials you’d like to use. You’re welcome to a personal tour of our facility, from the showroom to our offices to the manufacturing area and get to review a photo album of our completed projects.

Your designer will work closely with you to make sure the finished product matches your plans. The designer will come to your home to take final measurements and then develop draft perspectives, elevations and a floor plan and will follow you throughout the entirety of your project.

Your specialized design will then be programmed into our 3-D computers for you to monitor while the creative process is in action. This technology allows you to see an image of the hand-crafted piece before you buy! We then take the materials you have selected and get to work!
